Veterinary Assistants

Our Veterinary Assistants are a vital part of our team. They come from a variety of backgrounds but have a common interest - TAKING CARE OF YOUR PET. Their day-to-day responsibilities include such things as assisting with exams, treatments and surgeries, operating the kennel, performing lab work, taking x-rays, filling prescriptions, client education and more. They are as capable of handling a 2 pound puppy or kitten, as they are cattle and horses.

When asked what they like about their job, their responses include: "I love the pets, I love the people, I love that I learn something new every day." "I like the care that is put forth for both the client and the pets." "I like each and every new puppy and kitten that comes in the door." "I like the services that we have to offer and the follow-up care we provide." "I like how clean we keep the clinic."

These ladies are the ones that make sure your pet is comfortable and cared for while in our clinic. They feed them, play with them and talk to them. They make sure the clinic is clean and well stocked. They get to know your pet and we couldn't do without them.

Business Manager & Receptionist

Every business needs that special someone who makes a good first impression on a new client. We are blessed to have two of the best. Between the two of them, Lori and Tammy have 40 years of experience with Wise County Animal Clinic. When they answer your phone calls, you can be assured that they will know how to ask the right questions to get you the right answers. Their days are filled with managing the office, managing the appointment schedule, greeting and checking in patients, managing computer and reminder information and answering a multitude of questions. They both love their jobs and will look forward to serving you.

Come by to meet our friendly, caring TEAM!
