Get to Know Our Team
Veterinarian
Tammy, Clinic Receptionist
Every business needs that special someone who makes a good first impression on a new client. We are blessed to have one of the best. Tammy has been with the Wise County Animal Clinic for over 12 years.
When she answers your phone calls, you can be assured that she will know how to ask the right questions to get you the right answers.
Her days are filled with managing the office, managing the appointment schedule, greeting and checking in patients, managing computer and reminder information, and answering a multitude of questions. She loves her job and will look forward to serving you.
Veterinary Assistants
Our Veterinary Assistants are a vital part of our team. They come from a variety of backgrounds but have a common interest: TAKING CARE OF YOUR PET. Their day-to-day responsibilities include such things as assisting with exams, treatments, and surgeries, operating the kennel, performing lab work, taking x-rays, filling prescriptions, client education, and more. They are as capable of handling a 2-pound puppy or kitten as they are cattle and horses.
When asked what they like about their job, their responses include:
- “My job makes a difference. I’m able to inform people on how to better care for their pets and keep them healthy.”
- “Getting to help care for pets and working with the wonderful clinic family we have here.”
- “I love the hardworking and encouraging atmosphere. Everyone truly cares about the well-being of the animals we care for and the happiness of our clients.”
- “I love working with the staff and all the clients. Everyone is very kind.”
- “I love that every day is something different and I learn something new every day. I also love working with the fur babies and the staff. They are my family away from home.”
- “Having an awesome clinic family that all have the same passion to help and care for our clients’ fur babies! And all the first puppy visits are a BIG bonus!”
